This filter is made with a double-wall moisture-resistant frame and a MERV 8 filter media rating for the reduction of airborne particulates. The higher the MERV value, the smaller the size of particles filtered. This filter has a deep pleated surface rather than a flat one, thereby increasing the filtering surface area which further increases the number of contaminants it can capture.
